Afara
Every team's context, in every coding agent.
Afara turns each team's code and tickets into context, and injects it, with your company's enterprise and service patterns, into every coding agent that builds on it.

Features
A CLI next to git
Generate, link, push and compare from the terminal, with a pre-push hook that stays offline and fast.

Features are captured as nodes, edges and file references. The backend never stores your code.

The story
The problem
Every engineering team loses time at the same seams. Frontend waits on backend to explain an endpoint. QA tests from a ticket that no longer matches the app. Then coding agents arrived and the gap got wider: an agent only knows what’s in front of it. It will happily build against an endpoint it guessed, in a style your architects banned, for a ticket it never saw.
What Afara does
Afara means bridge in Yoruba. It derives context from what each team ships and writes, and injects it, with the company’s enterprise and service patterns, into the coding agent of every team that builds on it.
- A CLI that runs next to git, drives the AI coding tool the engineer already uses, and installs a pre-push hook that stays offline and fast.
- A backend that stores wireframes of features, never source code.
- A dashboard where product, QA and engineering see the same picture of what was built against what was asked for.
How it’s built
Analysis runs on the engineer’s machine, on commits only. That one decision shaped everything else: the data model, the security story and the way we price. Uncommitted work is never read, and the backend never receives source.
Try it
Afara is in beta. Install the CLI, connect a repository and a ticket, and see the context your agent would get.
