Build the backend and dashboard behind Afara, from the API to the interface teams use every day.
About the role
You’ll own large parts of Afara’s backend and dashboard: the services that store and compare feature wireframes, and the interface where product, QA and engineering see what was built against what was asked for.
What you’ll do
- Design and build features end to end in TypeScript, from the database to the interface
- Write the design doc, ship the feature and write the release notes
- Keep the API fast, predictable and well documented
- Review code and set the bar for tests and docs
What we’re looking for
- Five or more years shipping production web software
- Deep experience with TypeScript, a modern frontend framework and a relational database
- You care about the people who’ll use and maintain what you build
Nice to have
- Experience building developer tools
- Experience with infrastructure as code
