Design AI products for engineers, from the terminal to the dashboard, and the moments where people and agents meet.
About the role
Designing for AI is mostly designing for trust: what the model did, why, and what a person should check. You’ll own that across Afara and the products that follow it.
What you’ll do
- Talk to engineers, QA and product managers, and turn what you learn into decisions
- Design flows and interfaces for the dashboard, the CLI and our docs
- Build and maintain a design system that engineering actually uses
- Prototype motion and interaction, then help ship it
What we’re looking for
- A portfolio that shows how you think, not just what it looked like
- Strong interface craft and a feel for typography
- Interest in developer tools and AI
Nice to have
- You can write some HTML and CSS
- Experience designing command-line or developer-facing products
